Equine Therapy
BRE’EQUINE THERAPY
Equine Therapy
Enhancing your horse’s comfort, performance, and recovery.
Our equine therapy sessions are designed to support your horse’s physical wellbeing—whether they’re a competitive athlete, a pleasure mount, or recovering from injury. Using sports massage, soft tissue therapy, and remedial techniques, we help improve movement, reduce discomfort, and keep your horse performing at their best.
Why Equine Therapy?
- Reduces muscle tension and asymmetry
- Supports recovery from injury, surgery, or fatigue
- Improves suppleness, range of motion, and performance
- Identifies and addresses subtle issues before they affect training
- Aids relaxtion and behaviour by relieving physical discomfort
What to Expect?
Each session begins with a full history and static/dynamic assessment. We then tailor treatment to your horse’s specific needs, using techniques such as:
- Soft tissue release techniques including suspensory / tendon injuries
- Myofascial techniques
- Red light therapy
- Range of motion and passive stretching
- Confirmation and gait analysis
- Targeted massage for strain, soreness and rehabilitation
- Ridden assessments for both horse and rider biomechanics can be arranged by request
- Assistance with saddle fit (saddle fit for therapist)
You’ll receive feedback and advice after each session, including ongoing care or exercise plans you can use at home or in the yard.
Working in Partnership
We’re happy to work alongside vets, farriers, saddle fitters, and other equine professionals to ensure your horse receives joined-up care.
